What materials do you use to make your bedding products?
Our bedsheets are made from 100% recycled cotton and 100% recycled European flax linen.

How does using recycled materials affect the quality of your bedding products?
It doesn’t! How good is that? We go through rigorous testing to ensure the highest quality so you don’t notice a difference.

Can you provide more information about the sustainability practices you follow in your manufacturing process?
Our products are designed in Perth and manufactured in China. We only partner with suppliers that have the highest ethical standards in their work environments that we would want for our own employees.

Textile recycling comes from two primary sources
1. Pre-consumer: Includes scraps creating by yarn and fabric by-products
2. Post-consumer: Includes garments, upholstery, towels, household items to be repurposed. Our cotton sheets are produced from post-consumer waste and our linen is made from pre-consumer European flax.

How sustainable are your products?
At MLM Republic, we are not only trying to create a great republic of our own, we want to make the world a better place for future generations by making sustainable bedding for everyones republics.

As part of this vision, our products are recognised by the Global Recycled Standards and OEKO-TEX Standard, this means there are no hidden nasty chemicals.

Are your bedding products hypoallergenic?
Both cotton and linen are both naturally hypoallergenic. MLM Republic’s owner is allergic and sensitive to EVERYTHING, so she understands how important it is to have bed sheets that is skin-friendly with no hidden nasties.

Do you offer custom sizes for your bedding products?
At this moment no. We provide standard Australian bedding sizes. Check out our sizing guide to find out what will suit your bed.

How do I care for my bedding products to ensure they last longer.
We recommend a cold gentle wash and line dry where possible.
Limit using the tumble dryer, but if you need to, use the low airing setting.
Do not bleach.
